Day 4: RAIN!!!

As we went to bed last night, we were greeted with claps of thunder. The claps grew in intensity and the clouds opened up pelting the side and top of the house. Luckily, we were both so tired we easily slept through it. This morning we awoke and the rain continues as you can see from the pictures. Researching, it appears there is some form of a cyclone occurring right now which is causing this activity. Unfortunately, we will not be hiking in the Cinque Terre today. Our sunglasses will be exchanged for rain ponchos, assuming the local Supermarketo sells them and we will attempt to stay as dry as possible.
