5:00 pm…Sitting in the Moline airport. Arrive here to find out our flight is delayed 90 minutes. Wonderful. Good thing our layover in Atlanta is long so we should make our flight to Orlando.
When we got home at lunch, I had the dogs out while I was completing my packing. They seemed to know they were leaving, because they were both running around the house like crazy dogs (well, I guess that isn’t much different than normal).
We had to make a stop in Cedar Rapids for lunch. For those who don’t know, I travel to Cedar Rapids every Tuesday night for an MBA course. It is a requirement for this travel to stop at Sonic every week for dinner. I may be semi-obsessed with the fast food joint-but no one can beat their great hamburgers and Strawberry Limeades. Anyways, it was Ted’s idea to stop. A hamburger for both and ½ price limeades. The best! I even gave it a shot with a 44 ounce one-holy hugeness! Oh, and I almost forgot. My tradition is to make chex mix before each vacation we go on. I made two batches-and we already ate 1/3 of it
Ted and I were standing in line waiting to check in when we were talking about our trip to Disney World which we took with my family over Christmas. It was such a blast-but unfortunately, there were so many people there that we barely were able to ride any of the rides. We tossed out getting up early tomorrow morning and hitting up one of the parks until early afternoon-but tickets are $75. I think we’ll have to pass.
Anyhow, we are leaving to 52 degree temperatures in Moline-hopefully they are equally as warm when we return!
