The BIG Roll-Over

I'm not sure what the big deal is....

Aspen officially rolled over at 3 months and 12 days.  From what we have read, this shouldn't have happened until he was at the very minimum, 4 months old.  Of course, we both believe we have a genius and major athlete on our hands.  We were pretty pumped to say the least as can be seen from the video.  Ted is going to take Aspen running down the street when he walks for the first time.   Who knows what he will do when Aspen says Dada!!!

Great job little buddy on your first roll.  It seems like a piece of cake now for you.  We are so proud of you!!!!

My first photo shoot @ 3 months

Aspen had some three month pictures taken on March 31st.  I originally messed up the day, thinking I was scheduling on a Saturday when it was in fact on the following Monday.  Ooops!  I ended up changing the time to 4 in the afternoon so Ted would be home in time, hoping we could get in on a few of the pics.  Not really certain how Aspen would do since he rarely naps during the day, I figured I would take a chance.  As 4:00 drawer nearer, and the amount of time Aspen napped could be counted between my fingers and my toes, I knew we would possibly be in trouble.  And, it would equate into being one of "those" parents. Being extremely laid back, and having a care-free attitude (heck, I didn't even pick out which clothes I wanted him to wear until the day of), I told myself, don't ever give Ashley (the photographer) an excuse of "I'm soooo sorry, this isn't normal, he usually doesn't do this....".  I figured she probably hears it plenty, and I didn't want to be another annoyance.  Well, how soon one forgets once 10 minutes in and he is already fussing.  At any rate, below are a few of the shots she took. Some good, some funny, and some just down right hilarious.  Sorry Aspen, Da and Ma just laughed when you were beyond tired and crying in your pics.  Some day you will laugh too:-)

Da's favorite photo

We used this outfit in your baby pic.  You've outgrown it a bit now!

Chub-chub

"Knucks".  Ma and Da would always give "knucks" to the nieces and nephews.  Ma always wanted to get a pic of you and Da doin this, but Ma and Da failed on the 20 attempts they tried taking the pic on their own.  Finally, we got one to turn out!

Someone was "beyond tired" ;-)

New family fun-Geocaching

Before I was even a thought in Ma and Da's mind, Ma had bought Da a GPS made for Geocaching.  This, being, like four years ago.  And it only took until now to utilize it for its intended purpose: treasure hunting!  And I should mention the first cache we found, Ted didn't realize it was actually a cache and unfortunately "lost" the cache by placing it in a high traffic location! Oops!
We have enjoyed hunting for numerous caches in the last few weeks as evident by the pics:
First ever cache

Here fishy fishy fishy!

Now, it's time for us to hide a few...now we just have to come up with the perfect spot:)

Cousins for life!

I have gotten to spend some time with my cousins recently and thought I would share a few photos!
My cousins Than and Clara.  They L-O-V-E me to pieces!
My crazy cousin Brennan.

Cousins Brennan and Camdyn

I spent the night at Cousin Than's and we had so much fun playing and visiting the children's museum in Omaha.

I went from staying with one set of cousins to staying with another set.  Here is a pic of Camy and I again.

Me and my oldest cousin Alyssa.  She is such a big helper!

I'm a workin man!

Ma had Da dress me in my bib overalls.  He wanted me to start doin some chores around the house to earn my keep.  Isn't it a little young for this?  Somebody call DHS, please:)
